1998 Chevrolet Corvette Indy Pace Car Convertible The 1998 Indy Pace Car was a limited-edition 1998 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible featuring a unique "Radar Blue" or "Pace Car Purple" paint with bright yellow wheels, graphics, and interior accents. It was powered by the 345 hp 5.7L LS1 V8 engine and included the new Active Handling chassis control system, marking the fourth time a Corvette served as the official pace car for the Indianapolis 500. Chevrolet produced only 1,163 of these highly collectible replicas, which were mechanically identical to the pace car used on the track. Runs Great!
