You know we love Corvette's around here and that we always try to have a handful hanging around, but for me, personally, my FAVORITE series is the C6. I got really lucky this week and managed to snag TWO beautiful examples with super low miles, and they are identical except one is a stick and the other automatic!I love this era Vette for a couple reasons:1. The 6.0-liter LS2 V8 engine with 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque has proven itself to be basically bulletproof, and there are thousands of them still running with 200-300,000 miles on them!2. You can modify them for a little bit of money and get HUGE performance gains.3. They were the last of the 'roomy' Vette's before everything started getting racing buckets.This particular example had just two prior owners (3rd is a Maryland dealership but they have to title the cars) and spent the majority of its life in Florida. The Monterey Red Metallic Tintcoat finish is absolutely beautiful, with about 6 small blemishes that can be seen ranging from stone chips a few millimeters in size to a small scuff under the front fascia you can only see when the car is on a lift. The paint is glossy and clean, and you can tell this Corvette was well-cared for by the prior owners. Polished alloy wheels are free of curb damage and issues and are wrapped in recent 18-inch Goodyear tires with about 7/32 tread life on each corner. Glass is free of any chips, cracks, or flaws, and the lights are clean, clear and bright all around. Even the front rubber curb alert under the lower fascia looks great!!!! It truly is a stunning car, and I encourage you to see it for yourself!Inside, the cashmere and black interior looks amazing with no rips, tears, stains, seam pulls, or cracks to be found. Front sport buckets are soft and supple without any bolster wear or issues, Dash and console look like new with no cracks, scuffs, or wear. Targa headliner, rear hatch panels, kick panels, door panels, and pillar covers all look fantastic! There are NO ODORS in the car. Everything works as it should, including the BOSE 7-speaker premium audio with 6-disc CD changer, Heads-up Display (HUD), 6-way power heated seats, Memory pkg, power telescopic and manual column, power mirrors, and so much more!With just over 21k miles, this car still runs and drives like new. Starts easily, idles perfectly smooth, and the 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters snicks through each gear with ease. NO KNOWN ISSUES with the car, and having driven it over 100 miles, I have to say it felt like it was 2006 again when I had one of these as a demonstrator at the Chevrolet store I managed! It rides, handles, and performs perfectly, and braking is solid and sure with no pedal chatter or pulling.
