Its new Google-based operating system and massive standard touchscreen coupled with a solid array of standard driver assist features make this huge SUV both practical and convenient. The Tahoe has all the capability you'd expect from a truck-based large SUV but brings uncommon driving refinement to the table. A large infotainment display dominates the dashboard and is angled slightly toward the driver; Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both included. Navigating city streets with the Tahoe is easy thanks to its tight turning circle and light steering. The 10-speed automatic transmission shifts promptly and unobtrusively. The Tahoe's multi-zone climate control system's effectiveness does not disappoint; heating and cooling are effective for all three rows. How's the interior? The wide-opening doors offer easy access to front and rear seats, and even third-row passengers have ample headroom to get to their seats. The driver's seat and steering wheel have a wide range of adjustment to suit a variety of drivers. How's the tech? We've yet to test the 2025 Tahoe but it now shares its Google-based operating system and 17.7-inch touchscreen with the Blazer EV, and we like this tech in that vehicle. The Google-powered maps look great, and the Google voice assistant system can be used for a lot of personal and vehicle-based commands. How's the storage? Thanks to the independent rear suspension and large overall dimensions, the Tahoe can hold 25.5 cubic feet of stuff behind the third-row seats. The maximum capacity with the second and third rows folded is a cavernous 122.9 cubic feet. People expect comfort, capability and convenience with a large SUV, and the Chevrolet Tahoe delivers. Its independent rear suspension offers better interior space, increased cargo volume and a smoother ride over a wide variety of surfaces compared to the previous generation's live axle. In short, it does a better job at being the family workhorse.
