It takes about 100 hours to fully charge the iX using a standard 120-volt household-style power outlet, so you should really only use that for topping off your charge. It takes about 10.5 hours using a 240-volt outlet. Using a DC Fast Charging station, you can go from a 10% charge to an 80% charge in about 40 minutes. Starting from the same 10% battery level, you can also add about 90 miles of range in just 10 minutes. The iX xDrive50 has an EPA-estimated range of 315 miles when equipped with the optional 22-inch wheels like Edmunds' test car had or 324 miles with the standard 20-inch wheels.
