We Are Part Of The Fabric Of The Local Community We are most proud of our strong connections with the community, the one that has supported us for over 75 years. Since the early 1980s, we have assisted the Spokane Youth Sports Association (SYSA) and other area sports organizations. One way we have done this is through the SYSA Wendle Tournament. In 2001, SYSA’s Andrew Rypien Field opened. Dick and Carol Wendle chaired the capital campaign project the raise the $3 million to build the 20-acre sports complex.
