Stanley Chevrolet is a three-generation family-owned dealership. Lowell Stanley began his career as a wash boy for a used car lot in Anderson, Indiana at the age of 15. He eventually started a small used car dealership in Anderson at the age of 28. His philosophy from the start was to always sell the sharpest, cleanest, nicest used vehicles and to take care of the people he sold to. After owning used car lots in Anderson and Pendleton Indiana, his son Brad Stanley began the same way at the age of 15...washing cars. In 1987, a lifelong dream of owning a Chevrolet franchise presented itself in Fortville Indiana and so began Stanley Chevrolet Inc. In keeping with the family tradition Wes Stanley, son began as wash boys and continued into every position at the dealership. Stanley Chevrolet has operated on the principals set by Lowell Stanley clear back to 1965. Our guiding principles are honesty, treating people as family, fairness, and taking good care of our customers.
