Imports Unlimited was incorporated in February, 1985. Mike Caro is the sole owner and has been working on cars since he was 15 years old. During the 70's, Mike was trained at Sikorsky Aircraft in helicopter overhaul and repair. In 1980, Mike started a British sports car shop and then specialized in SAAB repair. Due to expansion needs, Mike's shop was moved to Wallingford in 1989 to a 15,000 Sq foot location. Imports Unlimited quickly out grew the location and moved to the old Grand Light showroom on the corner of Cedar St. and Route 5 in Wallingford for better exposure. In 1998, Imports Unlimited purchased and moved to it's current location, the old Central Motors Building. The new location allowed for an inside showroom, with a larger outside area to display their large car inventory. As a used car dealership, we do not buy or sell collision vehicles; we specialize in buying and selling vehicle trade ins.
